Lobotomycore

Lobotomycore is a term coined<ref>Not to be confused with the aesthetic called lobotomycore.</ref> by Saverino for a genre of music he has reacted to multiple times on his YouTube channel. The genre exists as a satirical reaction to the rise of nerdcore music and fan-song culture. It parodies the low-quality, often low-effort nature of many nerdcore songs while taking the inclusion of inside references to its logical extreme. The resulting music is incomprehensible to listeners who are not "in" on the joke, which is why it is likened to an auditory lobotomy.
